Snow Day Bonus Questions

For anyone checking in:

You may receive up to 10 Bonus points on your lowest grade in Math and Science if you bring any of the following things to school tomorrow.

* a measurement of the depth of snow in your yard after it stops snowing today

* a photo (printed please) of you or a family member in the snow today

* a measurement of one cup of today's snow melted (you might need measuring spoons to measure the melted snow)  Explain how you melted it and what you used.

* what time it started snowing at your house and what time it stopped snowing

  3. I consider my animals family members, so YES! it can be an animal, hopefully I'll have my camera ready when my pup goes out.

    gently scoop snow in to a one cup container, don't pack it, then figure out a way to melt it without it evaporating first.

    measure the water after it melts.

    mine is still melting but we can compair in about an hour or so.

    on the snow so far I have 1/8 cup plus 1 TBSP of water from my one cup of snow, I should measure the 1/8 into TBSP or teaspoons.

  10. Tablespoon abbreviated

    Tsp = teaspon
    TBSP = tablespoon

    Mine are also in metric so I have 45ml of melted snow right now.
